At Café Los Grisales we believe in a model that is responsible with the environment, which is why we have developed eco-friendly processes that reduce environmental impact and promote sustainability.

Zero discharge and organic compost

We run a specialized system to manage coffee leachate: it is collected and reused over the pulp, turning into organic compost. This process lets us close the natural cycle of coffee and significantly reduce waste, while also achieving zero water discharge.

We use an efficient washing system that saves up to 90% of water compared with traditional methods, reaffirming our commitment to the responsible use of resources.

CARDER's Green Seal

Thanks to these practices, we have been awarded the Green Seal granted by CARDER, a certification that backs our environmental commitment in the region.

Our sustainability is also lived on the farm: part of the food we offer in our experiences comes directly from our own garden, promoting local consumption, resourcefulness and waste reduction.
